However, the Indo-Mexican pair eventually fell to Rohan Bopanna-Matthew Ebden in a crunch three-setter.

Balaji’s form has led to Rohan Bopanna choosing him as the doubles partner in Paris Olympics 2024. Bopanna chose Balaji over the more-decorated Yuki Bhambri.
